SECTION 8/HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER WAIT LIST LOTTERY APPLICATION
ONLINE LOTTERY APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED July 26, 2021 – August 1, 2021
A LIMITED NUMBER OF VOUCHERS ARE AVAILABLE.
SELECTED APPLICANTS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST.
The Cranston Housing Authority will conduct a random selection (or lottery) to place applicants on its Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher wait list.
All lottery applications must be submitted electronically - Cranston Housing Authority will not accept applications in person.
Applications may be submitted using a computer, smart phone, or other mobile electronic device.
Computer access may be available at public libraries, the Cranston Senior Enrichment Center, and other local agencies.
Only one lottery application is permitted per household and only qualifying applications will be entered into the lottery.
Wait List selections may be made after the close of the application period.
Lottery applicants selected for the wait list will be notified by first class mail and must provide additional information and/or documents to qualify for rental assistance.
Lottery applicants who are not selected for the wait list will not receive any notice.
Applicants who require special assistance may call (401) 944-7210. No assistance will be available after the close of the lottery application period.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED ALL AT ONCE – PARTIAL APPLICATIONS MAY NOT BE SAVED.
BEFORE STARTING THE LOTTERY APPLICATION, HAVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AVAILABLE FOR ALL HOUSEHOLD MEMBERS:
Applicants must have household income that is below the following annual income limits to be eligible for the Section 8/Housing Choice Voucher wait list:
